Feeling Safe 

During the past two weeks we have identified ways to act safely in our classroom.  These were the things we have identified:

In  and around the classroom

1.  We line up next to our classroom after morning tea and lunch - we do not enter the class without       a teacher.
2. We never run on the ramp in front of our classroom.
3. We are very careful with scissors, we carry them safely and never run with scissors in our hands.
4. At the end of each day we do not leave without an adult - we wait in the class unless other arrangements were made
5. If we need to go to the toilet we take a toilet pass.
6. We always let the teachers know if we need to leave the classroom.  Our teachers need to know where we are at all times.

Outside

1. We have to line up next to the court while we wait for a teacher to allow us on the playground.
2. We never play by the school gates or staff car park during lunch or morning tea.
3. If we feel unsafe during break times we find a duty teacher and tell them about it straight away.

We are lining up next to our classroom after  morning tea and lunch.  We don't enter the class without one of our teachers.
